We're here to help!

Below are answers to some frequently asked questions about our services. If you don't see the answer to your specific question, please get in touch.

Do I have to book in advance?
We always recommend booking in advance, as many of our shows sell out nearer to the day. You can do this by contacting our Box Office – call/message 07967 214 477 or email hello@crazybirdcomedy.co.uk
Where are my tickets?
We are a ticketless comedy club. Once you have booked you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. This is for your own records, there's no need to print it, but do read it through and make a note of the details. Upon arriving at the club, we just need the name you booked under. This will gain you entry. If you are the organiser of the party, please ensure all members of the group are aware to quote your name at the door.
How many tickets can I book?
Crazy Bird Comedy is a great night out, whether you are a solo comedy fan, a couple, or a group of 4 or 20! If we’ve got the seats available, they’re yours for the taking. Some tour shows have restrictions on booking group size. Please contact the Box Office our Box Office – call/message 07967 214 477 or email hello@crazybirdcomedy.co.uk – with any queries.
Can we pick our seats?
All tickets in the same booking will be seated together. Some venues have tables within the seating plan. Groups of 4 or more will automatically be reserved a table. However, for sold-out shows, group table bookings will be on a first come, first served basis.

Groups of 4 or less will generally be in the rowed seating towards the front. Some venues, are a first come, first served basis – this will be highlighted in the confirmation email, so if you don’t fancy the front row it’s best to turn up earlier rather than later.

If you have a seating request for an allocated seating show (for instance 'Not on the front row!'), please email hello@crazybirdcomedy.co.uk or give us a call or message on 07967 214 477 so we can note it down for you. We can't 100% guarantee your request will be granted, but we will do our very best for you!
How long do shows last?
Shows are an 8pm start with two 15-minute intervals and an approximate finish by 10.30pm.

Please be aware that all shows start at 8pm sharp, no exceptions. Please don’t turn up at 7.55pm and expect to be seated with a drink for 8pm – give yourself some time.
Do you have a cloakroom to store our coats?
No
Do you have access for persons with a disability?
Stroud Brewery events are on the first floor. There is lift access from ground to first floor, with ramped access into the venue from the car park.

For all other venues, please contact the Box Office our Box Office – call/message 07967 214 477 or email hello@crazybirdcomedy.co.uk – and we will be happy to assist.
How can I contact you?
If you have a booking problem, want to know more about the venue, or you just want to ask us a question then please contact the Box Office our Box Office – call/message 07967 214 477 or email hello@crazybirdcomedy.co.uk – with any queries.
Do you serve food?
Stroud Brewery has a lovely menu (see https://stroudbrewery.com/pages/the-bar). You will need to book direct with the brewery. We recommend booking a table no later than 6.45pm in order for you to order and eat your meal and be able to be seated ready for the comedy to start at 8pm. Please be aware that the Brewery's kitchen can get very busy.

For events at The Rest, various street food vendors serve food from 5pm-7.30pm. Check their Instagram for the specific vendor for each night: https://www.instagram.com/therest_farm/

The Piggy Bank does not do food.
Can we heckle/talk during the performance?
No, we want everyone to enjoy their night out and we aim for a theatre-like environment when the acts are on stage. Some performers encourage audience interaction, in which case feel free to join in when you are spoken to. Please don’t be offended if we ask you to be quiet, as other people have paid to listen to the comedy, not to you and your friends.
Will I definitely see the comedians I have booked for?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this, as all our listings are subject to change (things happen outside our control), but in most cases you will.
